The Torke Coffee Roasting Company continually strives to achieve a balance of fair wages for coffee farmers, providing farmers and their families with housing and education, and enriching the land resulting in coffee crops continuing to flourish. If any one component is not in balance with the others, sustainability simply cannot exist. Through sustainable consciousness, we in turn are improving economic, social and environmental conditions throughout the coffee industry. We recognize just how important sustainability is for current and future generations, and we would like to share our commitments with you.

We partner ourselves with conscious minded organizations like the Rainforest Alliance allowing us to help make a difference in both local and global communities.

In addition, we provide our loyal and devoted customers with certified organic coffees. Quality Assurance International, an independent, third party certification source, verifies and guarantees organic certifications are aligned with the National Organic Program. This process guarantees these certified coffee farms are not using pesticides and fertilizers therefore guaranteeing 100% certified organic coffees from the farm to you.

Growing organic is really all about being in sync with the environment, and working with the ecosystem, rather than against it.

Organic farmers are implementing age old practices like replanting trees to grow coffee under natural shade canopies and enriching the soil with natural compost. Along the way they are reaping the benefits of a rich and diverse flora and fauna, and a higher water quality.

Organic coffee is not simply better for you and better for the environment, we feel it also offers a great cup of coffee.

Everyday, as you enjoy your great coffee, you can rest assured that we are working hard to improve the conditions faced within the agricultural community. When you purchase coffee with these certifications you will be joining us as conscious-minded partners.
