Sumatra | Weeden Creek

Medium-Dark Roast

roast icon roast icon roast icon roast icon roast icon

A full, dark, waxy and unwashed color reveals a syrupy body which is amazingly low in acidity. The chocolate flavor with a hint of tobacco and spice is medium long, lingering just enough to taste the earth notes of this Indonesian region.

Members of Sara Ate cooperative come from villages near Takengon, a well-known coffee town in the province of Aceh located at the northern end of Sumatra.

We combine this coffee with the Colombian light roast and it is absolute perfection! I got the idea after visiting The Greenhouse in Kohler, Wisconsin as Weeden Creek is who supplies their coffee. We can't get enough! The delivery being super quick is a huge plus because this girl needs her coffee.
